In this inaugural year, we are honored to invite you to attend the first annual Photo Vision Award Event, where we will be recognizing a lifetime of work by internationally acclaimed photographer, Mary Ellen Mark. Ms. Mark's work has captured the compelling nature of humanity for years, with some of her most recognized images taken right here on the streets of Seattle . She has returned to the Pacific Northwest regularly over several decades to continue her ongoing documentary, and will be joining us to receive this award.

This evening offers fun and participation for all in attendance. The wine and hors d'oeuvres hour will include an opportunity for well known local photographers to shoot large Polaroid portraits of guests on the spot, while silent auction items of exciting photographs and related items will be available for bidding and taking home.

A full course dinner and a mini live auction will wrap up the night offering extraordinary items and unique packages. All proceeds will benefit the ongoing programs of the Photographic Center Northwest, a nonprofit photographic school, gallery and community resource located on Seattle 's Capitol Hill.

This event promises to be an evening celebrating the achievement and contribution of photography in our lives and is an invitation to the Pacific Northwest community and beyond to come together to honor today's most powerful and relevant visual art form.
