Black & White Darkroom and Film Processing

The black and white processing facilities are located on PCNW's ground floor, and feature a large, split darkroom with 18 enlargers, each of which can accommodate 35 mm to 4”x5” negatives.

Enlargers


  • 16 Omega D-5, Universal Pro-Lab condenser enlargers
  • One Besler condenser enlarger
  • One 8”x10” Besler enlarger with a cold light head

Processor

In addition to traditional tray development, users of PCNW's darkroom will have access to an Colex Studio 50m dry-to-dry RC paper processor.

Film Development

Users can process black and white negative film for a per roll fee. Both plastic and metal reels are available for use, along with film developing tanks including D-76, HC110, and TMAX developer.

Pricing

Grain focusers, lenses, negative carriers, easels, burning and dodging tools, tape, a paper cutter, 3 archival print washers, and screens to dry fiber prints are included in the rental price.
